Ashton William Ashton Taylor started his tobacco journey as a pipe maker's apprentice in the Dunhill Factory. After learning the trade of pipe making, Ashton opened his own factory in 1983 and quickly set about becoming one of the worlds most renowned pipe makers. In partnership with Robert McConnell the next obvious step was to create a range of pipe tobaccos using only the highest quality ingredients and the rest, they say, is history.

Ashton Rainy Day Pipe Tobacco A Savoury blend of Virginia and Burley with a velvety black cavendish that is then aged in whisky barrels for 1 month before being topped with heady aromas of tropical fruits, Hickory nuts and tangy citrus.
