Las Villas Selección Box Pressed Robusto – Single Cigar
The Las Villas Selección Box Pressed Robusto is a handmade Nicaraguan cigar developed by master blender Guillermo Peña. Produced at the Las Villas factory in Estelí, it combines Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper.
Measuring 127mm (5 inches) with a 52 ring gauge, this medium-to-full-bodied Robusto features a distinctive box-pressed construction, giving the cigar a squared profile with gently rounded edges.
The Mexican San Andrés wrapper is known for its rich tobacco character. The Selección blend is described as offering nutty flavours alongside woody, earthy and leathery notes, with the Nicaraguan tobaccos providing additional depth.
The Selección range celebrates the establishment of the Las Villas cigar factory, where cigar production and box making are undertaken in-house. The range reflects Guillermo Peña's approach to traditional cigar manufacturing and tobacco selection.
Presentation is particularly distinctive, with an ornate burgundy, black and gold main band, a white protective sleeve printed with the Las Villas signature and a red ribbon around the foot.
