Las Villas By the Book Toro – Single Cigar
The Las Villas By the Book Toro is a handmade, box-pressed Nicaraguan cigar created under the direction of master blender Guillermo Peña at the Las Villas factory in Estelí.
Measuring 152mm (6 inches) with a 54 ring gauge, this Toro features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper surrounding Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The blend is classified as medium-to-full strength.
A distinguishing feature of the By the Book range is its whisky-barrel ageing, which introduces an additional stage of maturation to the cigars. This separates the range from the Las Villas Selección collection.
The cigar is associated with tasting notes of cedar, espresso, dark cocoa, roasted nuts, earth and pepper, accompanied by a subtle sweetness.
Its box-pressed shape gives the cigar a gently squared profile. The presentation includes an ornate black, gold and red Las Villas band, a white protective sleeve printed with repeating signatures and a black ribbon around the foot.
