Las Villas By the Book Toro – Full Box of 20 Cigars
The Las Villas By the Book Toro is a handmade Nicaraguan cigar presented in a black lacquered wooden box containing 20 individually cellophane-wrapped cigars.
Produced under the direction of master blender Guillermo Peña, the By the Book range forms part of the Las Villas portfolio manufactured in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Each Toro measures 152mm (6 inches) with a 54 ring gauge and features a box-pressed construction, creating a squared profile with gently rounded edges.
The blend combines a Mexican San Andrés wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. It is classified as medium-to-full strength, with reported flavour characteristics including cedar, espresso, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, earth and pepper.
The By the Book range is also associated with a whisky-barrel ageing process, introducing an additional maturation stage to the tobacco.
Presentation includes an ornate black, gold and red Las Villas band, a white sleeve printed with repeating black signatures and a black ribbon around the foot of each cigar.
The twenty cigars are individually wrapped in cellophane and arranged in a natural wooden tray, secured by a black ribbon. The black lacquered outer box features a prominent gold Las Villas monogram and the date 1939 inside the lid.
Supplied as a full box of 20, the Las Villas By the Book Toro offers a convenient format for maintaining a collection of medium-to-full-bodied, box-pressed Nicaraguan cigars.
