Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Ready Rubbed is a loose straight Virginia pipe tobacco prepared as a broken flake.

Mature Virginia tobaccos are hot pressed to deepen their natural character, then broken into irregular pieces for easier preparation. The blend has no declared added flavouring and offers the natural sweetness, dark-fruit tang, earthy depth, wood, citrus and light spice associated with Full Virginia Flake.

The broken flake may be gently loosened before packing and can benefit from a short drying period when supplied moist. Pack lightly and smoke at a measured pace for the best results.

Produced in Kendal under the Samuel Gawith name, now owned by fellow Kendal manufacturer Gawith Hoggarth following its acquisition in 2015.
