The Northern Briars G4 Square Straight Billiard NB-276 is a handmade English briar pipe by Ian Walker. Its distinctive design combines the proportions of a straight Billiard with a four-sided bowl and square shank, finished with softened edges and a straight black stem.
A polished dark red-brown stain leaves the grain clearly visible, with particularly attractive birdseye and mixed grain across the broad faces of the bowl. The squared construction continues through the shank, giving the pipe a strong geometric profile without making the shape appear overly severe.
Stamped Northern Briars, G4, Regal and Handmade in England, this is the individual NB-276 shown in the photographs.
