Design Berlin Rügen Green 9mm Bent Billiard 85045A The DB Design Berlin Rügen Green 85045A is a German-manufactured briar pipe featuring a smooth emerald-green finish and a traditional Bent Billiard shape.
Produced in Schweina, Thuringia, by DB Design Berlin, a pipe manufacturer originally established in Berlin, the Rügen series combines established pipe-making designs with distinctive coloured finishes.
The pipe is manufactured from briarwood and finished in a polished green stain, allowing darker grain patterns to remain visible across the bowl and shank. Its Bent Billiard configuration features an upright bowl with a rounded lower section, transitioning into a curved shank and black fishtail mouthpiece.
A narrow silver-coloured accent ring separates the briar shank from the mouthpiece, which carries a small gold-coloured DB emblem. The pipe is designed to accommodate 9mm filters, providing compatibility with standard filters of this diameter.
The smooth finish highlights the natural variations in the briar, creating a marbled green appearance. The curved construction gives the pipe its characteristic Bent Billiard profile.
The Rügen Green 85045A is a distinctive example of German briar pipe manufacture, combining traditional shaping with a contemporary coloured finish.
