The Design Berlin Baltic Sea DBP031 is a straight 9mm briar pipe combining a broad rounded bowl with a polished metal mount and black acrylic mouthpiece.

This individual pipe displays particularly attractive natural figuring, with prominent flame and mixed grain visible through its warm high-gloss finish. The polished Army-style metal application provides a contrasting transition between the briar shank and acrylic stem, which carries the traditional gold db emblem.

Introduced in 2026, the Baltic Sea collection is produced for Design Berlin by an experienced Italian pipe workshop using selected briar. Pipes in the series are designed around the 9mm filter system and combine traditional shapes with contemporary metal detailing.

The DBP031 offers a substantial yet neatly proportioned straight shape, with the richly figured briar giving this particular example its individual appearance.
