The Mil Días collection was introduced in 2020 following an extensive development programme lasting approximately 1,000 days. The name translates from Spanish as one thousand days, reflecting the time invested in refining the blend.
The cigar features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and long-filler tobaccos sourced from Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Peru. This combination of tobacco origins distinguishes the Mil Días blend within the Crowned Heads portfolio.
The flavour profile is medium to full, featuring creamy tobacco notes accompanied by toasted nuts, cedar, coffee and earth. Pepper, delicate floral characteristics and natural sweetness provide additional complexity.
The Edmundo is manufactured at TacaNicsa in Estelí, Nicaragua, using traditional handmade long-filler methods.
Its appearance includes a light-to-medium brown wrapper, an ornate cream and gold Crowned Heads band with red detailing, a separate Mil Días identification band and a bright red protective ribbon around the foot.
The single loose cigar presentation allows customers to purchase the Edmundo individually, making it suitable for sampling the Mil Días blend or adding a different vitola to an existing cigar collection.
