Introduced in 2020, the Mil Días collection takes its name from the Spanish expression for one thousand days, referring to the extensive blending and development programme that began in 2017.
The Edmundo measures 135mm (5⅜ inches) in length with a 52 ring gauge, providing a substantial cigar format with traditional straight-sided construction.
Its blend features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and selected long-filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Peru.
The combination of these three filler origins contributes to the Mil Días range's distinctive flavour profile, combining creamy tobacco characteristics with notes of toasted nuts, cedar, coffee and earth.
Pepper, subtle floral notes and natural sweetness add complexity to the medium-to-full-strength blend.
The cigars are manufactured at TacaNicsa in Estelí, Nicaragua, using traditional handmade long-filler techniques.
Each Edmundo is presented with an ornate cream and gold Crowned Heads band featuring red detailing, accompanied by a separate Mil Días identification band and a red protective ribbon around the foot.
The full box of 21 cigars features a polished reddish-brown wooden exterior with gold Crowned Heads and Mil Días branding. The hinged lid displays a circular gold emblem, while a decorative presentation strip is positioned across the cigars inside.
