Crowned Heads La Imperiosa Dukes The Crowned Heads La Imperiosa Dukes is a premium handmade Nicaraguan cigar featuring an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper and a medium-to-full-strength tobacco blend.
Measuring 140mm (5½ inches) in length with a 54 ring gauge, the Dukes offers a substantial straight-sided cigar format.
The La Imperiosa collection was introduced in 2015 following the success of the original Las Calaveras 2014 limited-edition release. Crowned Heads subsequently made the original blend available as part of its regular-production portfolio under the La Imperiosa name.
The Dukes features an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and selected Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. This composition provides a rich flavour profile with pronounced earthy and spicy characteristics.
Flavour notes include dark chocolate, espresso, cedar and black pepper, accompanied by subtle natural tobacco sweetness. The combination of Oscuro wrapper and Nicaraguan filler produces a medium-to-full-bodied cigar with considerable depth.
Production takes place at the My Father Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, using traditional handmade long-filler construction.
The cigar is finished with an ornate turquoise and gold Crowned Heads band featuring the company's crowned emblem, a separate La Imperiosa identification band and a bright turquoise protective ribbon around the foot.
Its dark brown wrapper and distinctive turquoise presentation create a recognisable appearance within the Crowned Heads portfolio.
Supplied as a single loose cigar, the La Imperiosa Dukes allows customers to purchase this larger vitola individually.
The Crowned Heads La Imperiosa Dukes combines the established Las Calaveras 2014 blend with a substantial 54-ring-gauge format, Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper and traditional Nicaraguan craftsmanship.
