The Vegueros CentroGordos is a handmade Cuban cigar measuring 100mm (3⅞ inches) in length with a 54 ring gauge.
Its compact, wide-ring-gauge format provides a distinctive alternative to traditional Robusto and Corona sizes, combining a short length with a substantial diameter.
The CentroGordos is manufactured in Cuba using 100% Cuban wrapper, binder and long-filler tobaccos, following the traditional Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Larga method.
Classified as medium-to-full strength, the blend is associated with flavour characteristics including earth, cedar, roasted coffee, natural tobacco sweetness and peppery spice.
The Vegueros brand takes its name from the Cuban tobacco farmers known as vegueros, reflecting its connection to the agricultural traditions of Pinar del Río, one of Cuba's principal tobacco-growing regions.
Originally introduced in the 1990s, Vegueros was relaunched in 2013 with an updated range of cigar sizes and distinctive metal-tin presentation.
The CentroGordos features a natural brown Cuban wrapper and a decorative white, black and green band displaying the Vegueros name and Pinar del Río designation.
Traditionally supplied in metal tins containing 16 cigars, this listing is for a single loose Vegueros CentroGordos cigar.
Store in a regulated humidor at approximately 65–70% relative humidity to maintain suitable conditions.
