The Trinidad Coloniales is a medium-strength, handmade Cuban cigar measuring 132mm (5⅛ inches) with a 44 ring gauge.
Introduced in 2004, the Coloniales forms part of the established Trinidad portfolio and features the brand's characteristic slender proportions and distinctive pigtail cap.
Trinidad was originally associated with Cuban diplomatic presentations before becoming commercially available in 1998. The brand subsequently expanded its range, with the Coloniales among the new vitolas introduced in 2004.
The cigar is manufactured in Cuba using 100% Cuban wrapper, binder and long-filler tobaccos, following the traditional Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Larga production method.
Its medium-strength blend is associated with a balanced flavour profile featuring cedar, toasted nuts, coffee, creamy tobacco notes and gentle spice. The relatively narrow 44 ring gauge contributes to the cigar's traditional proportions.
The Coloniales features a golden-brown natural wrapper, a decorative gold Trinidad band and the distinctive pigtail cap associated with the brand.
Supplied as a single loose cigar, the Trinidad Coloniales provides an opportunity to experience this established Cuban vitola individually.
For suitable preservation, store in a regulated humidor at approximately 65–70% relative humidity.
