Por Larrañaga Petit Coronas – Single Loose Cigar

The Por Larrañaga Petit Coronas is a traditional handmade Cuban cigar presented in the classic Mareva format. It measures 129mm (5 1/8") in length with a 42 ring gauge, equivalent to approximately 16.67mm in diameter.

Por Larrañaga was established by Ignacio Larrañaga in 1834 and remains a current pre-revolution Cuban cigar brand. The marque is generally associated with light-to-medium-strength cigars produced using tobacco from Cuba's premium Vuelta Abajo growing region.

The Petit Coronas is handmade using long-filler Cuban tobacco. In the UK, Por Larrañaga cigars are offered using the tripa larga, totalmente a mano method – long filler and totally handmade.

Its flavour profile is characteristically balanced and sweet, with caramel and honey among the most frequently associated notes, alongside toasted tobacco, wood, coffee, gentle spice and nutty flavours. Strength is generally rated light to medium.

The traditional 5 1/8" x 42 Mareva format provides approximately 30 minutes of smoking time and offers a useful choice for those looking for the character of a handmade Havana in a relatively compact format.
