New blends in the modern day of pipe smoking are rare and usually aimed at the novice smoker. Again Peterson stepped out of the closet and produced a new full bodied Flake tobacco with a very intense flavour aimed at the experienced smoker.

The Peterson Irish Flake is a full bodied blend of equal proportions of air cured, flue cured and dark fired tobacco leaves. It is a true to the pure unspoilt tobacco flavour, which we would only recommend for experienced smokers who enjoy a strong tobacco.

Flake Pipe Tobacco: The Petersons Irish Flake Pipe tobacco is sold in flake form. Flake tobacco usually requires rubbing (breaking up) before it can be smoked. The tobacco can be rubbed to the smokers preference depending on whether they prefer a slow or fast burn rate.
