The BLACKENED M81 Maduro to the Core Robusto is a full-strength Nicaraguan cigar created through a collaboration between Drew Estate, Metallica co-founder James Hetfield and BLACKENED American Whiskey Master Distiller Rob Dietrich.

M81 was developed around an all-Maduro concept. Its Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper covers a Connecticut River Valley Broadleaf Maduro binder, with Nicaraguan Maduro and Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro tobaccos forming the filler.

The resulting profile is dark and concentrated, with espresso, leather and dark chocolate among the principal tasting notes associated with the blend. Pepper, earth, toast and Maduro sweetness may also develop during the smoke.

Measuring 5 inches with a 50 ring gauge, the Robusto provides the M81 blend in a substantial but relatively compact format. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate.

The cigar carries BLACKENED's black primary band together with the distinctive copper and black M81 Maduro to the Core foot band.
