Captain Black Platinum Pipe Tobacco – 50g Tin

Captain Black Platinum is an American-style aromatic pipe tobacco blending selected Virginia and Burley leaves with a gently sweet aromatic finish.

The Platinum mixture is distinguished by its relatively restrained flavouring, allowing the natural characteristics of the component tobaccos to remain noticeable. Virginia contributes a light natural sweetness, while Burley provides a mellow, slightly nutty tobacco foundation.

The blend has a loose ribbon cut and is generally classified as mild to medium in strength. Its flavour is described as smooth, lightly sweet and rounded, with a pleasant aromatic room note.

Captain Black is an established name in American pipe tobacco, recognised for its range of aromatic mixtures. Platinum provides a subtler interpretation of the brand's familiar style, differing from the more pronounced vanilla character of Royal and the cherry flavouring of Red.

Following its discontinuation in Britain many years ago, Captain Black has returned to the UK market, making its aromatic tobacco range available to British customers once again.

Supplied as 50g of pipe tobacco, Captain Black Platinum combines Virginia and Burley in a mellow, lightly sweet aromatic mixture.

After opening, store the tobacco in an airtight container to help maintain its condition.
