Captain Black Gold is a mild American aromatic pipe tobacco featuring a predominantly Golden Virginia blend complemented by Burley.

Following many years of discontinuation in the United Kingdom, the Captain Black range has returned to the British market, making its established aromatic mixtures available to UK pipe smokers once again.

Gold is distinguished by its emphasis on lighter Virginia tobaccos, offering a different character from the darker Black Cavendish blends within the Captain Black collection.

The blend delivers a mild tobacco profile with natural Virginia sweetness, accompanied by gentle honey-like, vanilla and lightly toasted notes. Its aromatic treatment is relatively restrained, allowing the underlying tobacco character to remain noticeable.
