this not usually a problem unless you have you clicked the 'confirm

My pipe keeps going out all the time. What should I do?
Make
sure that the airway is clean and clear and the tobacco isn't
packed too tightly for it's cut and moisture content.
|
|
6. How
should I fill my pipe? You
should fill the bowl of your pipe slowly with small amounts of
tobacco, regularly pressing down with a gentle finger or
tamper until the tobacco is just below the top of the bowl and
feels springy. Ideally the tobacco at the top of the bowl
should be packed a little more tightly than that at the base.
To check that the pipe has been filled properly put the pipe
in your mouth and draw on it. If it takes a lot of effort to
pull the air through, it means it is too tightly packed and
will not burn properly. If it draws too easily you will need
to add more tobacco or the pipe will burn too fast.

7.
I am new to pipe smoking, what would be a good tobacco to
start with? There
are two basic types of tobacco - pressed and unpressed.
Unpressed tobacco also known as shag tobacco has a sharper
lighter flavour and is a more golden colour than pressed
tobacco. Classic examples of unpressed tobacco include Gold
Block, Capstan or for those who prefer an aromatic tobacco
there's a choice of Black Cherry, Vanilla, Peach and Coffee to
name but a few. An easy burning tobacco these are ideal for
the beginner.
|
8.
The bowl of my pipe gets very hot during smoking. What am I
doing wrong? The
tobacco is packed too loosely and is stoking up as you draw.
Alternatively you are smoking too hard for the cut of the
tobacco and should ease off or switch to a broader cut.

9.
The bowl of my pipe is cracked or splitting. Ream
more often. Too thick a cake will expand with heat and crack
the bowl. |
